In the beginning, when Lucy Willow first started selling furniture back in 2007, and with little experience and limited budget, we decided to deliver our furniture ourselves. Every Friday night we would load up our large van in order to deliver everyone’s furniture for the weekend. This invariably meant a 4.00am start in order to beat the traffic to travel to various parts of the country to begin a long day’s work as well as face the inevitable long drive back home. So December is here and the madness has just gone up a notch. You’ve got presents to buy for everyone and his dog - then wrap them - a Christmas dinner for 14 to organise and somewhere amongst that lot you must shoehorn in your yearly visits to loved ones, or make space in your home for them to visit you. Christmas shopping should never be a chore. But when you’re surrounded by cheery festive overload it sort of pushes you to the other side of happiness. It’s time. We must down tools and get those Christmas thinking caps on.   Outfits, food, decorations and most importantly - presents!   The biggest gifts are usually the easiest ones to sort out. The ones we know will be greeted with howls of delight and eternal thanks (for about two weeks at least...). We can get these boxed off, boxed up and ready to go under the tree.   It’s the little ones that get us all in a tizzy.
