January is nearly over and hopefully our collective blues will soon be gone along with it! Talking of which, I’ve never understood why we named these unwelcome feelings after such a beautiful colour. Everyone needs storage, whether you’re a minimalist maniac or not. We’ve all got keys, paperwork and general paraphernalia we don’t quite know what to do with. Well hello again! It seems like ages since my last post but I suppose that’s Christmas for you. We’re all in that vortex of “the eighth day of the week” when nobody seems to know whether it’s Wednesday, Sunday, breakfast or bedtime. Growing up we never decorated our Christmas tree until mid-December at the earliest. It was simply THE best day of the year, better than Christmas day itself! I loved standing at the foot of the stairs watching dad wrestle with the familiar dog-eared box full of ancient decorations. They were like old friends who we really could not wait to see!
