Will Kim be tearing her hair out on centre court this year?

So, England are out of the World Cup and now poor Andy Murray has the hopes of a nation resting upon those sturdy shoulders of his. Can the defending Wimbledon champion cheer us all up and deliver the goods a second time around? The pressure was firmly on England and now The Muzzler must bear the load. I’ve been having butterflies ahead of my daughter’s school sport’s day and I’m not even down for the egg and spoon. Imagine how he must be feeling right now? Not only does he have to play ridiculously long tennis matches against grand slam greats in potentially searing heat – he has to do it in front of everybody. Literally. The Queen, the Prime Minister, Cliff, you name them. Imagine that! He will be scrutinised day after day, his game picked apart. Even his girlfriend’s hairdo will be deemed fair game as the tabloids pose the age old question – when is he going to propose. Yawn. Who gives a monkeys? I bet he’s already married anyway. They’ve probably got three kids and a caravan tucked away somewhere. As long as he gives it some welly and re-affirms his credentials as a sporting great, I don’t mind what he does in his spare time. I’d draw the line at dungeons and dragons but that’s just me.

Winners or not, let’s hope our children get inspired by our sportsmen and women and get out and get active this summer.
We take our sporting philosophy quite seriously here at Little Lucy Willow as it happens. What Andy Murray does on court, we emulate at work. No, we don’t thrash tennis balls at 3,000mph across the desk, we simply aim to be the best at every level of business, from design to delivery every day (ooooooh, get us!). See, everyone can learn something from our sporting elite. Even when they lose, they teach us a lesson. Who can be better than us Brits at dusting off and trying all over again? We do love a good failure but when glory strikes you can guarantee we‘ll all be strutting around like peacocks. We can all dare to dream, so dust off those tail feathers Willowers because Andy Murray might just give us something to celebrate…
