Family camping holidays in France. Loved everything about them, from the childrens club to the onsite pool and making new friends. Reply to this comment

When we were younger we used to go to Great Yarmouth most years and we had a fantastic time - I have very fond memories of playing on the beach, skimming stones with my Dad and going to the arcade and playing on the penny machines, going round a Model village, watching the banger racing at Yarmouth Stadium and going to the Pleasure Beach ! Great memories, great times, fantastic holidays. Thank you very much. Great competition. Reply to this comment

I have very fond memories of 80's family holidays spent in Devon. We went every year without fail and the four of us had an amazing time. The weather was always great and my mum had meticulously planned activities. Considering the journey was over 450 miles each way, fair play to my mum and dad for keeping us entertained there and back. Reply to this comment

Going to Blackpool and Ayr with my grandparents and auntie. Every year they made us special and it was full of fun and lots of love. I have a photo I took of my grandparents that is ingrained in my head as they are happy. Sadly we lost all 3 in the one year and it was such a difficult time to loose everyone you looked up to as a child but because of them I make more of an effort with my children to give them the best memories and for them to know they are full of love like mine growing up. As a child riding around on my bike with friends or on my own during the lovely warm, light summer evenings. Reply to this comment

My favourite summer memories are playing in our garden with my two younger sisters. We would build obstacle courses with anything we could find, make dens with sheets and the clothes maiden, and put my youngest sister in the dolls' pram and push her up and down the garden pretending she was a baby. Happy days! Reply to this comment
