My favourite memory has got to be my childhood holidays. We always went to Wales in a caravan & our cousins also booked caravans so we could all spend time together. We would go for long walks over Barmouth Bridge & get chips by the sea. Dad would take us a drive to the ice cream factory where they did the most delicious honey ice creams. Other days we would just spend hours on the beach looking for fish in the rock pools. Happy Days with family. I do of course try to make all holiday & time spent with my children just as special so hopefully one day in the future they will also be remembering happy times x Reply to this comment

The annual trip to the seaside with the British Legion.I remember always being disappointed when the train didn't go over the top of the Forth railway bridge. Sack races and my mum winning the mothers race at Burntisland then going swimming and trying to avoid the huge jelly fish. Reply to this comment

Every weekend living in the South West is a holiday when the weathers good. My kids and Muddy Buddy love every beach the South West has to offer. This is where I grew up and had lovely holidays in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, just relaxing and surfing (body boarding really)! Reply to this comment

My fave summer holiday is going to our farm with nu grand dad when he was still alive. He made us all grandkids a nice pond where he fills it with fishes and we can do our little fishing and camping while he works in our farm. Reply to this comment

When I was little I used to love going to the five arches with my grandad with a net and jar to catch tadpoles. Then we would have a picnic under the trees I can smell the picnic blanket now it had a funny smell to it. Reply to this comment

All of our family holidays used to be at the beach. Could never afford to go abroad so it was always breaks away in the UK. My favourite memory is having picnics on the beach, my brother moaning about sand in his sandwiches and dad pretending to be a shark and chasing after us in the sea. We do the same with our kids now.
